The screen of a computer has its resolution as well as a felt-tip pen has its stroke weight. The same is the case with computer embroidery and we are limited by some sort of “resolution”. Primary importance is attached to the thickness of embroidery thread as well as necessary spaces between needle’s application so that the surface of fabric is not ripped.
I would like you to have a look at a short description and some examples which present technical limitations and necessary simplifications that must be applied when embroidering small details. I hope that this short description in PDF will resolve all doubts and help during the preparation of graphics that are going to be embroidered with the help of computers.
